I will be praying. CHD's are close to my heart. I was born with one, ASD with mitral valve prolapse. I had open-heart surgery in 1984 (age 5) and had another repair 3 months ago (age 30). I will be checking back to see how she is doing.

I will start praying for sweet Bentley. Just found out about her thru The Pifer's blog. I had a son in 2006 who was also diagnosed with a CHD, Hypoplastic Heart is what it was called. He also developed Cystic Hygroma because of his heart defect. Unfortunately he was given a zero survival rate and was stillborn at 25 weeks. The 3 year anniversary of his birth and death just passed March 26, and it is still hard. You are so blessed with your daughter and I will most definately be a prayer warrior on her behalf! I have since had another child who just turned 2 and am now expecting again...God is amazing...He traveled so far down a path I thought I could never come back from...but as always He knew my strength and has carried me every step of the way. Sorry this got a little long...by the way, I am posting about your website on my blog. I don't know how to link back to you, but I am putting Bentley's link on my page. Stay strong and I pray for God's arms to wrap you tightly.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to let you know that I figured out how to link back to your blog...YAY!
