HOTEL

Today we have spent ALL day in the hotel.. recovering. Bentley is doing well. She no longer has a schedule.. eatting or sleeping. So this is a little tough. It is also a little difficult because we can't just let Bentley crawl around on the floor (like she wants).. well we could.. but the only place is the hotel room floor and I will pass on that one. So she is restricted to her pack and play and the bed with mama and daddy. She's not liking that a whole lot.. and our toys are getting boring. But I'm not complaining.. she is doing great health wise and we couldn't be happier. We are missing Bryson and Brenna dearly.. just two more days and hopefully we will be on our way home! I'm exhausted so I am going to get some sleep while Bentley is sleeping.. I will have more pictures tomorrow and please continue to keep the prayers coming.. please pray that her follow up appointment on Friday goes well and her echo (ultrasound) shows great results from her heart surgery. Thanks & goodnight y'all!!!

  9. Ah yes I don't believe the hotel floor would be my pick of places to play either especially with one that just came out of surgery! I think I might be tempted to take a trip to Walmart or Target just to get her some new toys to play with...you know after all she's been through all..a girl can't have enough prizes :) Hope you guys have a wonderful day and get to head home tomorrow! God is Great!

  11. First off, I want to sincerely thank YOU for graciously updating us on how yall and Bentley are doing. I just got back in town after being out for a week and am catching up on the last 7 days you posted.

Words simply cannot express just how humbled and delighted I am at God's goodness - I'm overjoyed to hear that Bentley came through with flying colors (despite the gagging on her meds) and is doing so well to be discharged so soon. I can only imagine how anxious you are to give her the comfort of her own bed and her own floor to crawl on. Hang in there...after 9 months, what's two more days, right?

I'll be praying for safe travels back home and good recovery for the beautiful, brave baby girl.

  12. Hey! Glad that Bentley is doing well still. Sorry that things have been so yucky as far as eating and sleeping are concerned. I pray that the time you have left there will fly by! Hey, is it possible to maybe take her for a walk in her stroller?

  18. I am so glad you will be going home soon. It is AMAZING how fast these little heart babies heal. I saw the top of Bentley's scar in the picture. It looked really good. You will be amazed how fast it will heal up. Next week we will have the year of my son's surgery and you can only see it if you look for it.
    Have safe travels!
