I "HEART"...

So I have been wanting to do this for a while but things have been crazy with getting ready for school. Now that school started a week ago, we are finally in our new routines and feeling our new norm. That means, more blog time for me. yay!!

Since day 1 of our heart journey, we have really openned our eyes and now see the more important things in life. Not that we didn't know before but it's not hard to get caught up in life and overlook the moments that matter most. Every Monday I am going to post I "heart"... and will list just a few things that happened the past week that remind me how blessed I am. Feel free to join in, and add yourself to mcklinky below. I love how I can make notes of these little things that mean so much to me, and also update family and friends with these special moments that are going on in our lives.

I "heart" that Bryson and Brenna both have amazing teachers this year.

I "heart" that Bentley had an excellent 1 year well check up last week.

I "heart" that Bentley is standing alone more and more every day (although I'm a tad sad with how fast she is growing, but very blessed she is)

I "heart" that Bryson and Brenna both came home with great first week reports academically and with behavior.

I "heart" that Ryan helps me so much with the kids and house.

I "heart" my older sister that just turned 30. Happy Birthday Michelle!!

I "heart" that Brenna has found an activity that she loves so much. (soccer)

So there are just a few things that have happened this past week that I am thankful for. I will add a button later for I "heart"... but feel free to join in now and post the things that you "heart", and don't forget to link back so others can join in as well.

I do also want to mention a prayer request. Please keep my friend Angie in your prayers. I will leave the details out as I am not even sure of them, but I do know her heart is hurting. Please please please pray for her and her two amazing children Kenidi and Brennen. If you have a second, please visit her blog and leave her words of encouragement. I have known Angie for many years, and I have never seen her heart like this. Click here to go to her blog.

  1. Glad everything is going so well with your kiddos and school is going good. Ours is too, thank goodness. I was away this weekend from the computer and was just reading a little about Angie. I have no idea what is going on, but she will be in my prayers for sure!
