Also, I just received a package from Melissa and Joy with Designs by Joy. I haven't had time to get a picture with Bentley in it, but they sent the cutest tutu ever! Bentley looks so adorable in it!! Thank you ladies, you are super sweet for suprising us with that.
We will be off on our road trip in one week from today for Bentley's surgery. I had originally planned to do absolutley nothing from here until surgery but spend time with Bentley and the kids.. but of course so many other things come up that must be planned out for our two plus week stay. Since I am donating my blood to Bentley I have to setup a special appointment to go do this. We can have it mailed, but to prevent any problems that could cause delays in the blood being delivered our surgeon would rather have us go there to donate.. so that's what we will do. This Sat. we will be driving 4 plus hours to the hospital.. give blood.. then drive 4 plus hours back home.. all in one day. I'm not complaining though.. I am so thankful we have the opportunity to do this because most people don't.
Bryson had a baseball game tonight.. and he did so good. I'm so proud of my baby, he got the game ball! YEAH!! GO BRYSON!! Each game one child will get the game ball for their outstanding performance. Brenna snacked the whole time and cheered for big brother..
Speaking of baseball.. I have recently came in contact with Kristin who is now a dear blog friend of mine. She lives near the hospital Bentley will have her surgery at and she has offered so much support. She and her family even gave 4 Houston Astros tickets to our family for Bryson and Brenna. So my parents will be taking the kids to this baseball game to keep them busy. And they are more than thrilled to go. Thank you Kristin, you and your family are too sweet!! ALSO Kristin's sister in laws sister works at the hospital in CVICU where Bentley will go directly out of surgery.. unfortunately she is off the week of Bentley's surgery but she has talked to her and she is going to tell everyone to be on the look out for Miss Bentley coming through next week. Isn't that sweet. I think it's just amazing!
I think it's awesome that you have the chance to donate your blood to Bentley...what an awesome gift!
ReplyDeletePraying for your sweet girl...I'm going to go check out those bows...so cute!

So many prayers are going up on your behalf. Try not to fear.
Love in Christ,
Linda
That is the most adorable bow ever! LOVE it!! I will be praying for your trip to give blood on Saturday and of course, for your trip to Houston with Miss Bentley. I hope the kids have lots of fun at the game! You are in incredible hands at TX Children's, so try not to worry (I know that's hard). We have all seen the miracles of how God works when all of us bloggers gather together in prayer, and I am having complete faith that God has Bentley in the palm of His hands.
ReplyDeleteIf you need anything at all, just let me know!

Kristin

Well... I just picked up 7 (yes 7!) new special-made bows today for my Emily, but I simply cannot resist a BIG Bentley Bow! Now I will have to find an outfit to match it :) Thinking of you and praying for you in the coming days. By the way... I used to live in Houston and my son, Noah, was born at Texas Women's Hospital. I always felt so confident living there because everyone always talked about how fantastic Texas Children's was! I'm certain you will be in good hands next week. Many prayers & I can't wait to get my Bentley Bow!
