SO EXCITED!!!

I am so excited about the Holidays!! Thanksgiving and Christmas... YYYEEESSS!!! I just can't contain myself sometimes. I love everything about both. The reasons, meanings, the food, family, friends, love, the smell, and just spending time with each other laughing.. talking.. playing... EVERYTHING!!!

I love the Holiday Candles... My all time favorite candle is Sugar Cookie & Birthday Surprise from Kohl's (I like these year round'). I buy the big jar candles and they usually have a good deal. They are normally about 20.00 a candle <- I would never pay that. But most of the time they are on sale 50% off or either buy 1 get 1 free. That is the only time I get those. But these are the STRONGEST best smelling candles EVAH. They seriously make your whole house smell and sometimes even when they are not even lit. But during this crazy economy... 10.00 if still high for a candle <- in my opinion. Because of the economy our living has changed... we do things differently and buy things differently... and it's still tough. But I have found an alternate. Well, I have known about them for a while but now I have converted from the above to the Mainstays candles at Wally World. That's right!! Walmart. For about the same size candle, they are only 5.00 and they have more smells that I like esp. during the Holidays. Some of my favorites are...Pumpkin Spice, Hazelnut, Mulled Cider, Vanilla (all year), and a new one this year Cinnamon Vanilla!!!! They are all awesome.. they also have a strong smell that fills my house. They make me feel so warm and cozy!!! Have any of you tried these before? What are your favorites?

Oh and I know this is a random post.. I'm just sitting here smelling my Cinnamon Vanilla candle and had to share!!! YUM!!!

  2. Have you ever heard of Salt City candles? They are amazing! They actually come with a warning label because they are so highly scented! You can get them at overstock.com on clearance, they are a little bit pricey but they last forever and if you are just interested in the scent all you have to do is take the lid off and voila they will make a 2 story house smell amazing top to bottom! :)

  9. You're hilarious! Love the post! I am a candle freak and Circle E have ALWAYS been my fav. But I too have had to cut back since we recently added 2 people in our household and I am staying home part time. I will try these from Wally World and let you know what I think. Thanks for the tip!

And o... m...gosh... if you have NEVER seen or owned a Scentsy before... you must! I promise you will never go back to real wick candles again!

  11. I currently have a Pumpkin Spice candle (from Walmart) lit on my kitchen table and I have The Candleberry Company candle (bought at a craft store) and it is scented Hot Maple Toddy. I usually only buy from Walmart and sometimes have to trim the wick a bit so the flame isn't too high. I love the bakery scents. They make me feel all warm and cozy.
